Granite is a highly versatile stone, used both indoors and outdoors, such as covering floors, stairs and walls, as well as sink, tables and countertops. It is the preferred stone in kitchens, whose treatment continues to improve due to advances in mining, processing and application technologies.
Able to transform an environment, marble is a noble stone widely used in civil construction, in the manufacture of sinks, tables, countertops and floors, in projects with a certain refinement. It can also be a raw material used for creating ornamental objects and sculptures. All blocks are hand selected by us and they go under a very strict quality control process, including our slab by slab inspection.
Quartzite is a very hard metamorphic rock that originated as sandstone. Through a process of high heating and pressurization sandstone is transformed into Quartzite, an extremely strong and durable natural stone. When heated, individual quartz pieces recrystallize giving it a beautiful and decorative sparkling pattern. Quartzite is ideal for any countertop surface due to its strength and long-lasting composition. Consider quartzite countertops for its strength, beauty, and overall durability.
Schist is a metamorphic rock that is made mostly of mica minerals and has grains that are large enough to see with the naked eye. To put it another way, this stone sparkles like a Vegas hotel; its dazzling luster is its hallmark trait. The sparkly aesthetic comes from mica minerals, which are nature’s glitter. If you’ve ever looked at a piece of mica up close, you can tell that it wants to separate into thin flakes. That’s because of the mineral’s internal structure – the atoms are arranged in thin, sheet-like layers. The family of flaky minerals includes muscovite (transparent or silver), biotite (black or brown), chlorite (dark green), talc (white, grey, green), graphite (metallic grey), and others. The flat shape of these minerals reflects light like a mirror, which causes the trademark sparkle.
Are you seeking a beautiful, durable, naturally non-porous countertop that requires no maintenance? Look no further; soapstone is timelessly elegant, cleans up easily with soap and water, doesn’t stain, and is not affected by chemicals, acids or heat. Soapstone is regularly chosen for scientific laboratories because of its durability and non-porous nature.
